What an exciting time. With your travel packing checklist excitement can really now build as you have a tool to use to get ready as you for your trip.
This is the checklist planner I use when I have just 2 months to go.
You can use this planner along with the other planners on this site to help you take the worry out of your travels.
Here we go ... a plan to help you with just 2 months to go.
The 2 Month Checklist Planner
__ 1.. Research your destinations weather for this time of year and the
clothing and other items that could be needed.
Place this information together and call this the "Clothes List".
__ 2.. Identify all the Bills due during the period of your travels.
__ 3.. Organise to pay the Bills.
__ 4.. Collect the Biller Contact numbers and Account numbers and email
to an Internet Web-based email address.
__ 5.. Identify emergency contact numbers and email to the web-based
email address.
__ 6.. Make copies of your Travel Insurance and email to you web-based
email address.
__ 7.. Final adjustments to travel bookings:
- Pay airfares unless already paid to secure discounts.
- Pay for Passes, eg Eurail/coach, tours.
__ 8.. CHECK: all tickets agree with your itinerary, all coupons are
intact, departure/arrival times are compatible with any flights
and transfers.
__ 9.. Obtain your International Drivers Permit.
__ 10. What can I buy Duty Free - check out DownTown + compare with
non-Duty Free shops
as can be cheaper and have access to the goods once purchased,
eg Dick Smith Electronics in Australia
__ 11. Digital camera - ensure have sufficient rechargeable batteries,
memory sticks, power plugs/adapters
__ 12. Ensure have power connectors for the countries you will be visiting.
__ 13. Telephone - establish or turn on International Roaming.
